What Happens When You Request Deletion

When you request account deletion:

Your account credentials and profile information are permanently deleted within 30 days.
Reviews you submitted are anonymised (reviewer name replaced with “Anonymous Reviewer”, email removed) rather than deleted, as they form part of the public record and other users rely on them.
If you are an agent, your profile is unpublished. Any existing reviews of your profile are retained anonymised unless the reviewer also requests deletion.
Server log entries referencing your IP are deleted on their normal 90-day cycle.

Identity Verification

To protect your data from unauthorised access, we will ask you to verify your identity before processing a data request. We do this by sending a verification link to the email address registered with your account. We do not accept requests via social media.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC):
